Sharon Jones

I discovered Sharon Jones a few years ago and was very sad when I heard she died last month. Fire her up on streaming or buy an album, you won't be disappointed. Her life would make a great movie or hip-hopera. Oops, sorry Hollyweird, there's no dope or arrests, just a working-class hero from Far Rock, Queens, not 30 Rock, who made it to the big stage against all odds.
